This project involved migrating the entire Homeward Pet Bound website from Joomla to WordPress for a non-profit client based in Indianapolis, USA. The goal was to maintain complete data integrity during the transfer, ensuring that posts, pages, users, and custom fields were accurately mapped and preserved throughout the migration process.
Once the site was successfully moved to WordPress, I focused on refreshing the design with a modern and user-friendly layout. The redesign improved navigation, enhanced visual appeal, and ensured a responsive experience across all devices, making the website easier for both visitors to browse and the client to manage moving forward.
